Grant Funding

1

TCAC provides resources to local artists, with ties to the California Arts Council’s numerous grant programs, Humboldt Area Foundation and affiliates, McConnell Foundation, Shasta Regional Foundation, and the Redding Rancheria Community Fund. TACAC may co-sponsor or act as a fiscal sponsor for grants that meet our funding criteria.

Professional Development

2

The Professional Development program assists individual artists and arts organizations in building their capacity for success by expanding their network of knowledge, marketing capacity, ability to attend seminars and workshops (by covering travel expenses) and working directly with career coaches. We encourage a culture of learning and leverage aid afforded by state agencies. Available opportunities are change regularly. Contact us with your specific interests.

Performance Opportunties

3

Trinity offers opportunities to perform in myriad locations. The Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center books high level performances of all types and is a sophisticated venue for community theater and local performing artists. Live music abounds at Open Mics held in coffee shops and taverns, as well as annual Art Festivals and monthly Art Cruises. We can help you connect with a venue!

Show and Sell

4

Festivals, markets, events, and art galleries, provide regular pportunities to exhibit and sell your art. Most of the events also showcase live music. TCAC fosters close relationships with the arts organizations in the North State, sharing artistic talent regionally. Contact us to join our registry of local artists!

Hands-On Experiences

5

Many Trinity Arts Council Festivals are designed to provide opportunities to sink your hands in clay or cement, make jewelry, pick up a brush, create Native American crafts, or fire a ceramic piece in Raku. Check our Events page for upcoming experiences or sign up for a workshop.
